I have a somewhat rare Sadowsky Metro here it seems. Creme Transparent White(not a bright white like the MV5 I had at one time), Ash body,Rosewood Board. Normally the Metros run like this,Alder body/Rosewood Board, Ash body/Maple Board. This came from Sadowsky ASH/ROSEWOOD. Near mint condition! Probably a 9.8-10. No VTC. Original Sadowsky case included. SOLD! Paypal fees or Postal M.O. This may well be a "one of a kind" without special ordering it this way and we know what that runs! Make me some offers but no trades.

i just got an alder/morado metro last night!
i was surprised too, never ever saw morado (pau ferro) on a metro.
mine is an rs-4 though, not a vintage.
THIS,my friends..is a bass and a half.
believe it, it's all true..
the bottom end on these babies..these preamps are incapable of bad tones, no matter what settings they're on!
(unless u have a midrange control,like some do, the P basses, i think)
but yeah, i spent wednesday at sadowsky's shop, spoke with kevin for a long time, played 7-9 basses..and one thing, they're consistant. you kind of know what you're getting, the build is so meticulously perfect and uniform, that the basses all have a uniform,tight,cool feel..every one!

this is a fantastic bass. i played this exact ash/morado see-thru white bass at the ampshop/bassexchange in sherman oaks last year. maybe its a special order, i dunno...but nonetheless a killer bass.

i ended up getting an oly white/tort shell with alder body...as you can see in my avatar.

sadowskys are excellent and yes, very consistent. i've played four and all seem to feel and sound very similar.

I emailed Roger about it after I got it and all he could figure was that there was a screw up at the Japan shop with the Ash/Rosewood deal. Here's the Production records Roger emailed me. It says the body should be Alder but it's obviously Ash.

No problem butting in. I rarely find Sadowsky's at this price and condition when I'm in the market for one.
