SOLD! Thanks for looking!
Up for sale is my left-handed Schecter Stiletto Custom-4, in a natural satin finish. I'm selling it because I just ordered a Musicman Stingray, so something has to go in order to offset the costs. The Custom-4 just isn't my style anymore, in an aesthetic sense.
Originally purchased used on eBay back in May 2006, it has served me well with its swift playability, light weight, and tonal flexibility. Other than the strings (currently a set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wounds), it has stayed stock since the day it arrived at my doorstep. The EMG-HZ pickups can be warm and growly, or defined and punchy – just balance the pickups and EQ to taste, and I think you’ll be quite satisfied with the tone.
Here are the specs from the Schecter web site:
CONSTRUCTION/SCALE: 6 Bolt-on / 34”
BODY: Mahogany w/ Flamed Maple
NECK/FINGERBOARD: Multi-Laminate Maple & Walnut /Rosewood
FRETS: 24 Jumbo
INLAYS: Offset Dots
PICKUPS: EMG HZ
ELECTRONICS: Vol/Vol/Active 2-Band EQ (w/ selectable treble frequencies)
BRIDGE: S-Tek
BINDING: None
TUNERS: Schecter
HARDWARE: Satin Gold
COLOR: Natural Satin (NAT)
EDIT: Condition-wise, it’s overall in very good condition. There are only a few minor nicks and scratches, all of which are difficult to notice; they are all on the sides of the bass body, and blend in with the mahogany. I tried to take photos, but they're not showing up. There is also some wear on the back of the body, due to a belt buckle. While that wear cannot be seen, it can be felt in a few areas. Overall, because of the look and finish, it’s very difficult to spot the minor wear.
