This was very usefull for me as a rookie in the art of the walking bass! Looking forward to the next lesson. Don't let me wait too long :)

Chris,

Very illuminating approach! Seeing a simple bassline with octaves was a eurika moment for me. The upper note creates a visible attraction for the previous note.

Thank you,
Ed S.

Hey Chris, you are the Bass Cat!

Love your first lesson on the Wiki. Can we have a follow up now please?

Great to read a lesson structure that just works and makes sense. You are a good teacher, well done and muchas gracias! I'll surprise my keyboard player buddy who has been putting up with me just faking it till now. haha..... only been playing 8 months but loving it......

Thanks for the feedback. This article is pretty old. I'd like to follow up at some point, but now isn't the time. I'll put it on my "to do" list, though.
