I was living in Boston back then and I worked for Mama Kin Music Hall (Aerosmith's Bar) when I saw them. Lee was all over that URB.

I saw Lee Rocker and his 4 piece band playing in a bar here in Winnipeg on March 27th.

It was a great show .... very loud but very clean sound. Lee's bass playing was fantastic to hear and amazing to watch.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 'Cats' and some great Twins baseball in July.

I'm hoping they come near me, as I've never seen them live before. Although, given a choice, I think I'd rather just see Lee Rocker's solo band.

I saw the Stray Cats a few weeks ago. Played with the Pretenders and Don Henley, which made for a "diverse" audiance (Tatoo and leather rockabilly set, middle aged men screaming "Chrissie Hynde I love you!", and housewives in sweatshirts singing along to "Desparedo").

I was a good show but only a 45 minute set. The shows I really like are the Brian Setzer Orchestra X-mas shows. No Lee Rocker, but a flat out Awesome show, and last year, Hillbilly Casino opened!

So I was at the NAMM show a couple of years ago, and happened by the king doublebass booth (king rocks!) and there is this guy jamming on a bass. I started talking to him. I was impressed by his slapping, so I asked for a few pointers. He was the coolest guy. Of course, I have a bad memory for faces so I did not recognize him. After chatting for a while, I casually ask him; "so, what bands to you play with" and he says" stray cats, Lee rocker band"...I just about fell on the floor. You expect celebrities to be someone egocentric, but not this guy. He was a regular guy.
