I read a few of the threads here talking about protection and enhancement of natural finishes.

My Schecter is Mahogany with a Bubinga top and the finish is fairly matte.

Any options for enhancing this stock finish? Or best just to leave it alone.

What needs to be done to a finish like this over time for overall maintenance?

Thanks in advance.

Heh, sorry.

I believe it's an oil finish. It's not near as shiny as this image shows.

They call it a Honey Satin finish.

if it's an oil finish, you just need to keep a good sealer wax on it. Regular "Pure" Carnauba wax is always what I suggest. You can also use Warwick wax that most Warwick retailers sell.

As for enhancing it, if you mean making it shinier, you can lightly sand the body down and add coats of Tung oil or Tru oil, build about 8 to 10 coats, and you will be able to rub out as much shine as you want.
