Greenman 04-21-2007, 04:55 PM Clean looking bass Nino. Contoured heel is a definate spec on my next bass.
Mark Wilson 04-21-2007, 04:57 PM Classy!
Think we could get a shot of the back?
wilser 04-21-2007, 05:07 PM Nice, love that 'sharp edge' J body.
Are those the new Nordstrand EMG 45 shape covers? they're kinda ugly, I prefer the old P2 shape. But hey! that's just me!

No, they're the EMG 40 covers.
Funny thing, I think the P2 cover is ugly. :)
Fretless5verfan 04-21-2007, 05:21 PM Finally J comes to the darkside!! Welcome! :ninja: :D
Clean, simple, beautiful, absolutely superb work. Congrats !!
Just like Mark Wilson said, I would also like to see the back as well, contoured heel is something Id like to see. Peace!

wilser 04-21-2007, 06:41 PM aw crap! I hate it when that happens, which is usually at the last stages after most of the work is done! Another reason why I'm starting to get away from nuts.
FL Knifemaker 04-21-2007, 06:51 PM Nice one Nino!!!

Well, except for gluing together that busted nut and sticking it on there with Krazy Glue. You should have told him to not touch it on 4/20 day.
Other that that, it looks like you'll be getting a sweet bass.
:D

I reckon if you rotated that bass about 90 degress it'd be invisible. Who left these pickups lying on the floor?
Noice!
Very, very nice! wood looks very good with the black hardware
Now this is what I call a bass!
Wilbyman 04-22-2007, 08:45 AM I vastly prefer the P2/BC shape but everybody's a critic!!!
jokerjkny 04-24-2007, 12:08 PM shipping tomorrow!

Nice one Nino, say what do you use to attach the battery clip inside the controls rout? screw, epoxy? It looks like there's something under the clip.

Awesome looking bass!
But I was struck by the thought, if you turned the bass to run with the floorboards, it would be camoflaged....
:D

Nino Valenti 04-28-2007, 06:28 AM sweet! expecting a review in the "basses" forum...
They're invisible. ;)
The pics of the bass were when i was just about complete with production. I was loosing the light of day so I took the pics b4 it got too dark.
Bassdesires 04-29-2007, 11:09 AM I vastly prefer the P2/BC shape but everybody's a critic!!!
for i too am full agreement, agreed about the P2.
further, if not a P2 if i want a larger shell it would be a 45 as its starting to approach ramp-able without a radius, but still ramp-able in some ways.
