Well, the artist I play for (jonathanharris.net) was signed to a indy Nashville label about 6 months ago and after a lot of hard work he finally was able to release the CD a few weeks back. He thought it would be cool to do sort of an "unplugged" version of the CD for the party, so I decided to use my B2 exclusively for the gig.
The release party was a great success with a couple hundred of Jonathan's biggest fans showing up and I had many great comments on the B2 and the sound and a lot of "what exactly is that thing you're playing" (not to mention one girl who thought I was playing an oboe ... see my other thread under Bass Humor http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=326973 ).
Our booking agents wife was particularly intrigued by the bass even though she's not a musician. I think the shear beauty of the B2 was compelling for her :D
Anyway, here's a cheesy shot of me with the B2 and the band...
