You know the bass. Neck through, double-bucker pickups, typical fast Ibby neck. Excellent condition, I just don't care a lot for how it sounds.

A search of eBay shows two of these that sold for $350 and $425. I'd like to see $400 shipped out of mine (inside the US. Will consider shipping outside the US, at your additional expense). No hardcase, but comes with a decent gigbag. Will pack well, and insure the bass for shipping.

Open to trade offers, but I'm a little picky. I'm interested in a good jazz bass, mostly. But run your offers by me, the worst that'll happen is I'll say no. :)

thanks.

Could you describe the sound, and what you don't like about it? Thanks.

it's a fairly "round" sound, without much growl or "anger", if that makes any sense to you at all. and using it through a mesa 400+ and a couple of GK cabs, it sounds...muffled...compared to my MM sterling. almost like throwing a blanket over the cabs.

wow really? i got an srx705 and i would say that it is the exact opposite, it can be quite aggressive and growly.

maybe it's just me, then. dunno. old strings, weak battery, amp settings, who knows...

Yes, we do appreciate your frank description.

i'd rather not sell it, than to sell it on false advertising...

and like i said, it might just be me. maybe the way i've got it set up, could be amp settings, old strings, or who knows what else...

if anyone hasnt noticed.. I posted that as a joke.. hence the ninja and brick hiding smileys..

I didnt want to assume that I or anyone else would do differently to purposely rip anyone off on false statements.

AGAIN IT WAS A JOKE.....

definitely could be strings, batteries or what not. i have to work to make my srx sound "rounder". you might want to fiddle with it some more before selling it. you might solve your problem and not have to sell it...or it may sell better:D
