To recap the features:
Alder body (Fender Standard American)
SD Quarter Pounder pup
fully shielded cavity
upgraded pots, cap, wiring
new Allparts pickguard (B/W/B/W/B)
Schaller straplocks
Recent set of Chromes strings
Neck is maple, with two graphite reinforcing rods
Ebony board with hard polyester coating
matching headstock with Dolan logo
Hipshot standard tuners
nut width 1.625"
32" scale!
about 9 pounds
The neck, which was hand-carved and finished by Mike Dolan, is in excellent condition- the only wear on it is light/superficial string wear in the polyester coating on the fingerboard. That string wear is not visible unless you pull aside the strings. No dings or any other sort of marks otherwise. This neck is easily the nicest-feeling, quickest, smoothest neck I've ever played, and the carving and finish quality are clean and professional. It looks and feels like a premium production instrument, not like the hippie woodwork of some boutique luthiers.
I bought the body used from a TB'er, and it has some general light player wear on the surface of the finish, as well as one shallow scratch from the bridge to the output jack, but no buckle rash. You can view several detailed closeups of the condition here: http://www.ev-b.com/bassforsale.html
The playability is super fast and smooth, not only due to the shorter scale but also because the neck is relatively shallow from front to back. The tone is warm, smooth, and even, although honestly the E string is not as "focused" or tight sounding as some might like. But overall it's fun and comfortable to play and has a great "clean vintage" sound. I'm only selling due to having made some big $$ purchases lately, and also I now have a P5 and an EUB so I've got the sounds of this bass pretty much covered.
If you're outside the 48, please PM me for a shipping quote. I take Paypal or check/MO/cash. A brand new padded gig bag is included! Please read my feedback both here on TB and on Ebay:

I'd prefer money instead of a trade, certainly, but I am open to trades for high-quality rackmount gear and pedals. I can add cash as needed if you want to trade a higher-value item. I am no longer entertaining any offers of trades for basses or cabs, or anything else physically large, because I am packing to move. If you want to trade me something, think "small and valuable". :D
Please do make me an offer!
Thanks!
