I have too many basses, and since this one does not get much play time, it needs a new home. Plus i am moving so need to clean excess gear :)

Asking $1200.00 + shipping

Zon sonus 5/1 with Myrtle wood top. Made in 2000.
It has a single Seymour duncan pickup, with a Bart preamp. Active electronics, 17mm string spacing, controls are Master volume and Bass/treble stack boost. There is also a internal mid knob if you need to adjust it.

+ zon gig bag

And below are the piccy's :bassist:

Damn, if that were 34" scale, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Great bass, great price. This should go quickly.

I assumed my 5/1 was 35" scale due to Zon's website, but it always felt the same as my Zon fretless, and my Zon custom 5.
I just measured both my Custom 5, and the 5/1 they are both the exact same thus 34" :)

... I'll verify this with Joe Zon, the more recent Sonus 5/1's must be 35" this one is not.
Also the neck is a bit slimmer on the 5/1 it's an extremely fast neck

Could you just measure from the nut to the 12th fret? Should be 17" for 34" scale. Let me know...very interested.

this should be 34" as it has 24 frets. the 35" tend to have 22 frets...

Sure...*measuring*

Yup, exactly the same on both 17" from nut to 12th fret

Would you ship this over the atlantic to Sweden? I'd cover the extras.

This bass really seems like a "plug and play" bass, and at the same time has a really classy look!
