For sale, my almost-new Waterstone Brighton '64:

It's lovely, as you can see, and has a good sound. The neck is very well done, and is thin like most typical short-scale hollowbodies. Action is very low. If you are a light-touch player, this plays like a dream.

I'm selling because although it's a great bass, doesn't give me a tone I can't get from my other short-scale hollowbody.

Price is $535 shipped, with hard shell case and soft gig bag. If you don't want the HSC, I can knock a little off the price.

Let me know if you need more pics, and I'll post them.

Wow, Bob... that was quick... lol... sweet. But I am good for now with the Epi Viola and the new Lo Ryder... I am actually going to sell that Dean. Not exactly what I needed...

You'd really like this one, Bobby. It has superb playability. But I, like you, already have a violin bass, and I have GAS for something else (active bid on Ebay now).

Sorry the Dean didn't work out for you.

There is some local interest in this on Craigslist, so if you're interested, better grab it now.

Nothing solid on the local interest, so still available.

Nice piece, Bob! $485 shipped is VERY reasonable for her - unfortunately too rich for my blood (at the moment). :crying:

Bump for a cool bass - and good luck with the sale, too!

Unbelieveable.... Can't believe you ain't got this one sold yet... It is sweet... If I did not have the Epi (or if I did not like it...) I'd jump on that. C'mon folks, Buy this bass! I bought one from him...

I had a local guy take a look at it tonight. He really liked the bass, but we could not come together on price. He would not budge above $400, which is not enough.

But during his extended test-drive session, he was able to get some great new sounds out of it with a pick.

Funny how you bond with some basses, but not others, isn't it? This really is a great one, but not for me.

But the guy who tried it out could make it bark like a chained-up Michael Vick dog. :)
