I posted this before, not many bites so I decided to keep it. I really have to thin out the heard now. This is one hell of a Jazz Bass for the price
Here is the Aria..........
It has very minor play wear. No dings or dents, just a few VERY, VERY minor scratches that would never show up in pics. It has a great 3 piece neck and a rather powerful preamp that I'm told is internally adjustable. I've never had the pickguard off, it sounds fine as is! The build quality, action, setup, fretdress and pup adjustment is PURRFECT :) It has a brand new set up DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams with about 1/2 hour of playing time on them
From the previous owner who I believe got it directly from Steve...........
This bass "was indeed played by Steve Bailey at the NAMM show and on various recording sessions. It was integral in the development of the ARIA Steve Bailey Model basses: 4, 5, and 6 string, both fretted and unfretted versions. The model AVBSB04AP, serial # 9507XX was made in the ARIA custom shop in Japan, under the "AP" designation and was one of the prototypes used by Steve Bailey before his approval for the actual production models. Production models were finally manufactured in Korea."
