Allright. Remember my post a while ago in another area of the forums, saying a band wanted me to join them? And I just couldn't leave my current band, even if it was a paying gig? I'm too committed to my band and enjoy it too much to leave?
Well, they're squeezing me again. "Come on, man! We know you rock, you love our stuff, you're awesome on stage, join us! We need a better bass player!"
UGH. Bastards. Another time, another place.... ARGH!
And no, I CAN NOT juggle two bands. They're up in Flint, 1-1/2 hours away, and I drive a thirsty fuel-inefficient truck. And if they all-of-a-sudden find a record deal, HELL NO I don't wanna be tempted with that to leave my band! Unfortunately, they're good enough to get that lucky. They're finishing their second self-produced album, and they're geeked about the increase of sound quality over the last album, which I'd be hella-proud if my band could produce something so well-forged!
So. All you bass players in Michigan. Detroit and Flint area.
Any of you lookin' for a band? Go check them out:

Best description of them I can give, is Michigan's version of Iron Maiden, with killer vocals and double-guitar riffs, and TOO much fun to see on stage. Excellent showmen, incredibly dedicated to their music, and METAL AS A PITCHFORK IN YOUR EYE!!!
These guys really do deserve a good bass player. They're too good to get stuck not finding the right guy! They got songs and videos on their Myspace page, and are committed to making music their career.
If none of youz guyz are into it, but know of a bassist who might be, spread the word. These guys are easily my favorite band in all of Michigan, and not to be boastful or arrogant, but are the only "match" for us. It's like putting Iron Maiden on a show with MetallicA. Different styles, both equally as rockin', and NO SUCK GUARANTEES! Even when the house's PA system fails on them, they're still capable of impressing. I know, I was hiding behind their gear holding an XLR cable together for them to finish that gig, and they still ripped it up!
