How's it goin' StickCat :) ?

These quotes are from the other thread in the "Miscellaneous" Forum:

So many albums ..... so little time and money :D . As I began to search out Roy Jr. recordings and I had gotten up to number 44, I then came across this Yahoo Shopping discography:

http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Roy%20M.%20%22Junior%22%20Husky:1927071387:page= discography:subpage=also-appears-on;_ylt=Al77uEp38d_SDWv8YWmQCNpUvQcF;_ylu=X3oDMTBu bDlqbmRkBF9zAzg0MzkzMzAwBHNlYwNhcnRwcm9k?sort=popu lar#albumlist

There are 324 listings. Some of them are for the Senior Huskey but most are Roy Jr. I probably would have run into the yahoo listing sooner if they hadn't mispelled his name :spit: !

There is a pretty gigantic list for him on allmusic.com also. He was awesome.

Gosh Cat .... now I'm flattered :D ... ah shucks. I always figure that someone can't bring out the best in folks unless it is already there ;) . By the way, have you been studying your Circle of Fifths and written that bluegrass song or fiddle tune with a 1-7-3-6-2-5-1-4-flat7-flat3-1 chord progression yet :p ? Let me know when you git er done !

that would be tough!! i cant even write a 1-4-5- song!! hehe... also if i was able to pull one out in the circle of fifths! it would have to be used in a Steven King movie or other horror flik!!:hiding: lol

That's some fine news there JT :) ! I can't think of a person more deserving of a personal website than your Dad. I had two country / bluegrass gigs last weekend and I listened to a fair amount of Roy Jr. in my truck on my 6-hour roundtrip journey (Mac Wiseman, Marty Stuart, Nash Ramblers, Hazel Dickens, Steve Earle, Aubrey Haynie, Circle Volume 2). I was inspired to play my old Kay at the gigs as sweet as I could. I ain't sayin' I played anywheres near as good as Roy Jr. but at least I know what it's supposed to sound like :p ! Keep on workin' on that website ..... git 'er done JT :D . I also hope you are finding some time to play the upright .... I'll bet the farm that you can hold your own on the bass pretty darn well ;) .
