I'm just wondering what the difference is between the L2k's pups and the 1500's pup placement. Is the 1500's pup in the same spot as the L2k's neck or bridge pup?

i can't give you the exact measurements, but i think it's safe to say that the pickup on an L-1500 would be right in the middle of the two pickups on an L-2000.

Here are pictures of a L2K superimposed over a L1.5K. Notice the 1500 pickup location in dark color vs the L2K in lighter hue.
