DanielM 06-05-2007, 10:44 AM parallel to the centre line here. looks sweet and I hate routing endgrain :P Rodent 06-05-2007, 11:01 AM I glue a significantly larger blank onto a neck blank, and then trim the final profile as an assembled unit. In cases where I have a fretboard that extends past the neck butt (i.e. a 21-fret board on a 20-fret neck), I shape the neck heel before gluing, and then fine tune the edges of the fretboard by hand after routing the main profile all the best, R |
