Hello All!

Keeping my 1st post short (I wouldn't too immediately bore you all with stories  ) I have a 74 Rickenbacker 4001 that I would like to have some work done on. Do any of you know of a Good Luthier in the Hayward, WI area?

I've been playing this bass since I was 17 (Wow! 31 years!) so I'm pretty fickle about who thouches it.

Your help/info is appreciated!

Thanks for the reply!

Most of the work is electronic. The pickups are fine but I have devloped quite a bit of static (so has my bass :P ). Dirty pots are definitely an issue. I should also have the Grovers replaced as the originals are at the end of their life (33 years of service is too not bad IMO). Beyond that, the truss rods could probably use a tweak although the intonation isn't bad.

Again--Thanks for your reply Holmann!!!

I can take care of all those issues for you- my shop is right on main street in ashland, about an hour north of you. That's all bread & butter type repair, nothing invasive. 715 682 3505, ask for Josh.
