If you don't know what this is, then you probably don't want it, so I won't explain why it's such an awesome drum machine. so......

Up for trade is my TR909. I've had 5 different 909's & this has been the one that I've kept because it's got a bit of "magic".
The kick drum had been modified to have a long decay (yes, it'll still do the regular 909 kick) to sound similar to an 808. you can make it sound really funky, and I've never had another 909 that sounds like this.

This particular one was sampled to use for Acoustica's Beatcraft software because of it's sound. It's also been used on pretty much all of my records.

It's in good physical shape except for s few small nicks/scratches. I can supply pics if needed.

It's tough to part with this little guy because it's a bit of a friend to me, but I haven't been using it as much lately, so time to finally go.

In trade, I'd be looking for:
- a "DAMN nice" preamp
- empirical labs distressor compressor
- a mackie MCU pro extender (or maybe a c4)
- something else that I don't realize that I just gotta have :)

What I don't want is a trade for a bunch of cheaper stuff... I'd rather have one nice piece of gear, so don't try & trade your art compressor, digital 8 track recorder & squire bass for it :)

Ones in good shape usually go for $1000-$1300 on *bay. I can toss in extra cash on a trade as well.
