Hope you don't mind this type of question... if you'd rather not answer, I understand.
I'm wondering about your time in Halford; how you got the gig, whether there was much negotiation about the terms (i.e., did they just offer a particular deal, in terms of contract length/pay/etc., or was it more back-and-forth), or whether it was more casual, like musicians just working things out together as opposed to lawyerly dealings. Ok, what I really want to know is, in a situation like that, which I guess I would think of as medium-big rock star stuff, do you get your own room? If so, did you have to ask for it? I'm asking these things as a person who has had many hundreds of shared-room nights on the road, and am now starting to get some nights to myself on some gigs, and I like it! but, I don't want to tick people off by pushing too hard for perks like that.
