Well, I don't know where to put this but w/e.
Alright so my music teacher said I should stop using tabs and start reading sheet music because it will supposedly help me a lot when I apply to berklee.
Is there any software I should buy?
What is the best way to learn?

I would say that you should definatley check out this website: http://www.musictheory.net that will most likely help you. You should also read some books on learning to read music at the local library andbuy some books on learning to read music (I would reccomend Carol Kaye's "Music Reading DVD and book" for that check out http://www.carolkaye.com/index.htm)
That should help for now.
