I closed the old thread because the price was in the subject line - Thanks for the bumps before.
I love everything about this bass except that the neck is too thin front to back for my hand shape. Great upper fret access. Easy to play. Sweet sounds. Nice body contours and a nicer bridge setup than most affordable 8 string basses. I believe the body is Swamp Ash, maybe some of you wood gurus can tell me for sure. It is light and resonant. There is virtually no finish on the wood of this bass. That is how it came from the factory. If you were to do an oil rubbed finish or similar on this, I'm sure the grain would pop out beautifully. I think the wood is probably even nicer than in the picture.
I have only seen one other of these basses ever. This bass is in excellent condition except for needing a set of new strings.
