Alright I was hoping I would not have to do this but looks like I may have to sell this baby. But, I have a custom jazz bass assembled by me with the help of a local luthier in town. The body is a 3-tone sunburst MIM Fender Jazz. The neck is an Allparts Jazz neck with pearl block inlays. For those that know me know that I LOVE block inlays. As for electronics, I have EMG JV's in this baby. The JV's really give it a vintage tone. Hardwares are GOLD. Gotoh 201 bridge and Wilkensin tuners. Only thing that bothers me about this bass is that the tuners are for a 2X2 setup. I bought them thinking I was getting a 4-in-a-row set but the 2x2 set works fine. I asked the luthier about the tuners and he says there shouldn't be a problem. This bass also has a dark wine tort pickguard to go with the vintage theme.
I spent over $1K on this project. I am asking $650 shipped. I will include a Fender HSC in this deal. Let me know if you are interested. This would be FOR SALE ONLY!!! No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. No trades. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the compliments guys! I can't agree with you more. It is a very beautiful bass and sounds even nicer. I have not put the decal on it. I'm not exactly sure where one would get a Fender decal. That will be up to the next owner to find out.
Here are more pics as requested.

Love the bass, but I hate the way Fenders look with non-clover tuners. :hiding:

They're only tuners. They can easily be replaced.

Yeah you rite ........ Bump it!
This is nice for only 650.00. I'm sure you put a good bit more into it.

Considering the time and effort on top of the cost of parts I'm basically shooting myself in the foot by letting this go for $650 shipped. But like you said, you basically have to give things away for free for anyone to bite.
