Here's a set of Seymour Duncan P/J pu's with dipswitches...rather hard to find, at least in a set. I got the set...just for the "P"...never used the J. I picked them up used...the "P" works great...never used or tested the J...but imagine it works just fine.
Looking for $68.00 Shipped
Not looking for trades...and won't split the set.

Bump for the SD. I have a set of the Jazz Active EQ in my jazz bass. These things sound awesome! At $75 this set is well worth the money, you will not be disappointed!

Are these active or passive? Pardon my ignorance, but what are Dipswitches?

Hey Rappa...
These are Active...
The "DIP" switches are... little switches (3) one each set of PU's that give you the ability to change the tone of the pickups...kinda like it's own onboard preamp.
Good Question.... A+ (with a Gold Star) ;)

My jazz version only has two switches, one is a DB Cut (Drops the volume) and the other switch is a Mid Frequency Switch so you can change the mid point. The pickups on mine are active, but the controls are passive. The tone control covers the spectrum as good as one pot can do. Most basses have active preamps and passive pickups which will give you more control over the Treble, Mid and Bass. With these pickups you don't need that much control, I set everything all the way up and that is how I play it and the tone just kills factory Fender jazz basses.
