My hands are unusually large, so I was wondering if anyone knew slappers with big hands so I could watch their videos and study their technique. the problem comes from popping, when I have my hand in the comfortable "normal" position, my index fingertip is nowhere near any of the strings.

study louis johnson. he has some huge hands.

+1 to that. I pretty much learned slapping from an old video of his, which is probably the stuff on youtube.

His thumb can wrap around the neck while his fingers wrap around from the other direction.

From the video it looks like his hands are pretty big, and he sure had no problems slapping...

Stanley Clarke and Wooten have huge hands, but at the same time, Mark King and Stuart Hamm, don't have massive hands, but they are big enough.

Abe Laboriel has some seriously large hands.
