I want to see these two play together, two visionary individuals, pushing each other to the limit....

Anyone else like my dream team?

I think we could do without Meshell, but Buckethead and Jonas Hellborg were great together, even though Buckethead was really under the guidance of Hellborg. Nice to hear him on an acoustic!

I am really fond of Buckethead's works and he ranks top of the tops for me. IMHO he has played many styles of music, from hard, ambient and blues to jazz, new age and funk. Meshell on the other hand is very funky and groovy, a player's player IMHO. If the two of them combined I am sure it would be a joy to listen and a hell of a learning experience for me.

Either one could fart on their respective instruments to vibrate the strings at it would still be awesome. I think that Meshell is such a talented player that she could work well with anyone. I still love the work she did with John Mellencamp on his cover of Van Morrison's Wild Nights.

Buckethead was the only thing that made Axl's sad GnR "return" on that awards show a few years ago even watchable. It was like watching John Petrucci playing guitar with the Sex Pistols. But this thread is about the awesomeness of Meshell and Buckethead, not how much of a joke Axl. Rose has become. :D
