I've gigged this thing twice. Spot-free, absolutely mint condish. Make date of 8-18-2005. And is a "real" 800B, not the upgraded/modded 800(A) version.

Zero hiccups or issues. Huge, round tone. Includes the rack ears.

Oh those aren't my settings- ;) This was pics of when I got it just a few mo's back!

I usually set:
Gain - 1:00
Enhance - Off
Bass - 2 or 3 clicks right
Lows - 2 or 3 clicks right
Low freq - 9:00-11:00

All else flat.


And amp is on hold!

You should. I sold my 800A for $900 to a local guy, then upgraded to the 800B for less than the upgrade, which is not a complete upgrade (no Speakons). I'd be on this like a skull cap if I didn't already have one. Mine has been completely reliable for several years.

I'm probably going to end up getting like a 400 or 500 series again sometime.
These guys sound SO good to the board and in IEM mixes.
