I imagine most of us tb'ers know about this preamp, but just just incase:

This is a spectacular pre, its in great cosmetic and sonic shape, the di works great, no issues at all. I really enjoy this pre, but I had to choose between this and the Read. I don't want to think/question my rationale for choosing the Read anymore, but I've made the right choice for me.
As you can tell, this is the non wal-wart version. Front panel consists of volume, bright swich, treble, mids, bass, deep switch, tonal balance, main-out master, line-out master, operate (mute) switch and power. The tonal balance essentially clears up the sound or rolls off the clarity. A useful feature that can vary the sound a lot.
The back consists of effect send and return, (2) 12ax7, 1 (12au7), (2) main outs, di, and tuner out.
This pre can get very tube like, clear and has some of the best low end. I had an f1-x for a while, but thought the kern had better low end, treble and was able to get more clarity. Right now it has (2) JJ 12ax7's, but I'll throw in (2) NOS GE 5-star 5751's.
Asking $700 plus shipping.
