Crest LT-1000 for sale. I'm finding I'm not using the power, so if someone would like this, let me know. Trades possible, but unlikely. I'm looking for MarkBass stuff.

Never had any problem, fan isn't loud to me at all, in pretty good condition. Only weighs 30lbs. I'll even throw in the cable you need to bridge the two channels. It has speakon outs as well, and they work great.

Bump for a great amp.

I own a Crest LT-2000 (1,000 watts/channel@8ohms; 2400watts bridged@4ohms) and love it! The LTs weigh less than the CA series (but are still toroidal) and, IMHO, have all the depth, girth and gravitas of the CA series. The LT series won some technical awards for its design. A Crest factory rep recently told me he thought it was one of the best amp series Crest ever produced and was only discontinued to make way for a new model series that is now made in Asia.

Compare its specs to a CA6 (http://www.crestaudio.com; click "Service"). Then compare the weight of the two amps and try to find a CA6 for the same price. Someone should JUMP on this.

Replied, and thanks for the bump. I agree, it's a great amp and very comparable to higher priced stuff.

I'm really tempted by this because I owned an older LT1000 years ago. I agree with your comments; I thought it sounded every bit as good as a CA9 I owned years later, actually maybe a little cleaner that the CA9 as well! :eek:

Anyway, I am mulling it over. If I can get my hands on a Glock or Demeter pre, I may take this off your hands.

Very tempting, especially with that SWR IOD and the Trace V-Type for sale right now.

I'm envisioning this in a four space rack with an AGRO and a V-Type... man that'd be a hell of a setup.

Or maybe a turbo booster for my Thunderfunk.
