I bought this back a few months ago here on TB. It needed a little love, and it came to the right place. I completely rebuilt it replacing some minor hardware, gave it a thorough cleaning, a new bone nut, and a complete setup. This is bass is everything that a US peavey should be. The only imperfections are one ding on the top edge of the belly contour, and a finish crack on the bass side of the neck pocket. I bought it as an experiment since I haven't had anything but Jazz style basses in a long time, and it confirmed my suspicions that I'm a jazz'er at heart. I'm just lookin' break even, so you get all the work I did for free! $400 Shipped w/ a Levi's gig bag.

If you want the Millennium experience, this is a good place to start. The Hipshot tuners are especially good also.:)

I'm lookin' for cash to buy a new camera, and I'm not much of an FX guy anyways. The neck profile is a thin symmetric "D" like most peaveys. The slap tone? Are you kidding? This things got a maple fingerboard, an MM pickup, and 3 band pre and a 35" scale! It doesn't get much funkier than that.

I own one of these bibbies, (mine is red), and everything he's aying is absolutely true! A really great workhorse. Congrats on the additions, sure to make it a real steal...........
