Not sure if this is the right place, but i don't know where else i should ask this...
I remember a few years ago someone had a piece of wood that had a pretty clear image of a cat's face in the figuring. it needed to cure before it could be used for a bass, and then it disappeared. i know i commented in the thread, but now i can't find it.
anyone remember who had that wood? or what happened to it?

Those are some great pieces of wood, but not the one i'm thinking of...
it was a cat's face right where pickups would be. there was discussion of it needing lightwave pickups so that it wouldn't be covered...
wonder what ever happened to it...

no thats at the bottom of my personal tops stash.
I cant figure out what to do with it. its too big to make a bass.
I was actually debating framing it like that.

Again, some gorgeous wood (snicker). but still not the one i remember. it was a cat face that fit in the space between a bridge and neck on a standard bolt-on bass...
but let's see some more wooden faces!
