Man, this is going to suck. I just got this beautiful F Bass BN6 from AJ Brown and it is just smokin' - just beautiful to look at and plays better than ANY other 6 I have encountered. Just a work of art and sounds amazing.
I just had a set of Nordstrand Big Splits installed which were expensive but fantastic sounding pups. They take care of any lo gain output problems you may have heard about F basses. The bass is wired to Master Vol / Pan now. I spent a few hundreds on these mods. I still have the original F Bass pickups. Bass is in very good condition and includes a like new gig bag. Reason for selling is I still feel better on a five and to be frank, I need the funds, so let the wise comments commence but this one is as of right now up for sale for $2900. I am losing $ from what I bought it for couple of weeks ago AND put a few hundred in as well.
So, unfortunately, $2900 plus shipping makes it yours. No Paypal , please.

correction - the Nordstrand pickups on this bass are Big Splits, not Big Singles- i cannot keep up with Carey's pickup names. All I know is they sound good!

Man alive, this is one gorgeous bass...easily one of the nicest 6's around.

I'm deeply saddened that you have to let this go Adrian, yet I understand entirely. I wish I had the funds to buy it back, especially with the Nordy's in it now. Someone will get a phenomenal bass here.

ahh, the bass kills! it's the bassist getting lost on 6 strings that is the problem.
