Its never easy to have to part with a prized bass and this Zia is no exception. I have been needing to redirect some assets into other areas/priorities right now..and this is something that took months for me to work up to do. As those of you that like his work know, JP has stopped handcrafting basses personally and there are a limited number of the originals out there..this one is approx 2 years old in mint conditon and only used in the studio. I am the original owner.
Specs:

34 scale
Black limba body
Macasser ebony top and headstock with padauk accent line

Bolt on wenge neck
Macasser ebony fingerboard
JP Basses pups
East pre with active/passive and master tone
Padauk heel block

This bass is one of the most unique basses I've ever had..and it is truly an original handmade boutique instrument. JP's reputation on these instruments was stellar, and the tone, playability and design of this bass keeps that intact.
Comes with Ritter gig bag that came with it from JP.

$4000 US shipped to the lower 48, for European buyers shipping not included. Paypal. No trades please.

Thanks for taking a look!

Bump for a super, top-notch seller (my highest recommendation!), and for a bass that I would snap up in a jiffy if I weren't in a rare gear reduction mode. :p

Thanks also JP for the good wishes........ making sure everything is good to go on the bass has made it harder to think about parting with it....its like part of an 'era".

Hope everything went well for you the last few weeks too my friend! Congrats maybe?

Mitch

That JP is a very talented luthier!

Price reduction above ($3400) is going to hurt but its a good deal for anyone who's wanted one of his basses.

Decided to try this again to see if the right buyer is out there now:) I received many trade offers but I already have a few too many basses..so I prefer to sell outright.

See first post for all info.

Thanks for looking!
