HI--I'm in the bluegrass band Chatham County Line from NC and we are playing 4 nights in Colorado and I am looking to borrow/rent a decent upright for those shows. We are opening for Sam Bush in Steamboat Springs on Wed. Aug. 8th and then playing a casino in Denver on the 9th, 10th, and 11th. Let me know if you can help.
Thanks,
Greg Readling/Chatham County Line

You guys were great at Grey Fox last year (2006).
I'd gladly lend you one if it was in the NYC area.
Good Luck.

Thanks a bunch. We had a lot of fun up there. Too bad you're on the wrong coast...
Thanks,
Greg

Hello Greg .... I'm not from Colorado :p .... but I've seen a bunch of Colorado bluegrass bands. Just a thought ... why not contact the Colorado Bluegrass Association http://www.coloradobluegrass.org/ and see if they can help. There's a contact e-mail for the Association on the website and lots of band websites also that I imagine you could contact to get the word out. I know there's some real friendly folks there and someone is bound to be helpful in your quest :) Good Luck.
P.S. You might try asking this same question over at Bluegrass Bass Place website http://www.bluegrassbassplace.com/phpBB/index.php . I know there are a couple of Colorado players that are members of the website. If you are a member there, you could Private Message them. Look at the member list there and you'll see members #158 and #163 are from Colorado. In particular, you might try Kenny Pabst of High Plains Tradition Band at http://www.highplainstradition.com/ . He's a fine bluegrass bass player and he gets around so he might be a good lead. He has e-mail and phone numbers listed on the website.
