Get the StewMac blade or the LMI blade?
After researching, it appears the LMI blade requires 'stiffeners' as opposed to the StewMac blade, which on the website states that no stiffeners are required. ANybody have experience with either of the two and wish to comment??
Looking at all these fretboard blanks I've been accumulating is making me want to go the power tool route for slotting. My arm hurts just looking at them!

I got the stewmac blade and it works great. No experience with LMI. Some others have bought el-cheapo blades that have worked well too, but required bore adapters.

The Stew-Mac blade is worth the investment many times over.

Another vote for the Stew Mac blade. I recently picked up a cheapo Task Force sliding miter saw for the blade. And the last fan fret board I did was the most accurate yet. I'll never do one by hand again!

I've been slotting by hand ... but the StewMac blade has been on my set-up list for the new shop in Charlotte. Of course the blade is immensely expensive for me, as I need to also purchase its table saw accessory :)

Any table saw will do, really. I use mine on a bottom of the line craftsman. I made a cross-cutting sled for it and it works great.

I wonder if stew mac does endorsements :p

Another vote for the StewMac blade here. I use mine on a radial arm saw, which to me is also very useful for getting any kind of perfect angle cut across the grain (more accurate than a table saw IMO).
