is there any really good books that any of you came across when you started bass? I got my bass last week, and ive just been playing parts of tabbed songs, and its time to get serious. any help??

Dont be put off by the "dummies" word as this is a fairly comprehensive book. This book brings you through the basics, step by step and is explained in an easy to understand way. It also comes with a cd.
