Hey JNowiski, i'd be interested also.

There are several long-standing and active TB threads in which Mr. Manring's work could be rightly cited (Perfect Albums, Best of Summer 2007, etc.), and somehow MM's albums remain on top of my mind.

just this week, have likely gone through 20 CDs/artists with serious listening. So I hit a silent spell this evening. And you know the bassline of all of them that comes to mind right now? Equilibre, track 3 (title track). Last weekend I told some non-musician friends that of all the listening i've done in past 6 months, this album is the one i'd recommend to all of them (generally).

MM has to carry rhythm, percussion, melodic work, countless solos, and half of the compositions. Just the story behind this album is amazing. Some emails. Some shared recordings. They get together, perform three gigs, and then record this masterpiece!

The DVD done in support of Thonk is awesome!! Would love to see a DVD of Equilibre. Is there an eBow in here?

Just thought I'd drop in here and mention that I consider Equilibré to be Michael's finest work!

Thanks so much, guys! It’s always a pleasure to play with Dave. We don’t have any plans to release transcriptions of this material, but we’ll certainly consider it if there’s enough interest.

I'd chip in for a transcription of "Dabuda's Memory" (or even just a video!) because I've spent countless hours trying to figure out how it's played and remain completely stuck on roughly 95% of it :)
