Is this (go to transcriptions then bass and scroll down to chromatic fantasy{about halfway down the page}):

http://www.lucaspickford.com/

the correct transcription of this solo:

I'm talking around 3rd line beginning of the bar and 4th lin end of the bar. I haven't seen any bass players (at least ones on youtube) go down to that A in the 4th line.

I don't use transcriptions of other people but I just couldn't figure it out. :bawl:

Thanks

Pick's an excellent player and teacher, and the transcriptions he posts are usually spot on.

You don't use other's transcriptions?

it's a bach piece. Do you plan on learning it by ear? :hmm:

I said I usually don't like using transcriptions, i like figuring it out for myself, but this was really hard so I'm using one.

Back to the point! Is this transcription right in the places I mentioned becasue it doesn't seem to be... even though I know that hes a very good bass player and all just saying I don't think its 100% right.

Dude. It's Bach. It's hundreds of years old. Just go get the sheet music. Bravo for attempting the transcription, but there's no shame in just buying the sheet music. Like Jaco did.
