Hello there.
Last week i went to a luthier who lives near me to fix my soundpost because it was not straight....
Well, i noticed that after that , my soundpost was not centered with this wood disc inside the bass(sorry as i dont know the correct name for this little disc)
The sound post was straight(90° to the bass top) but it was in the down part of this little disc...coincidende or not but since then, my bridge already falled 4 times and now i'm afraid of taking it back to this guy. However everytime the bridge falls, the soundpost doesnt move.
I fix the bridge again but after a while it just falls....
Does the sound post really needs to be centered with this disc???
All information welcome.
Thanks and a great 2002
