This and the previous ones looked so nice and at home in that setting... I'm thinking a buckeye burl one will have to go somewhere else. Someplace with some green.

Like I have said before, it is perfectly safe on little pads and very stable.

That, is a gorgeous piece of wood, and I love the design as well, sophisticated, but not boring. I love it.

Since the customer wanted the pickups so close to the bridge it is very bright. Not too bright though IMO. The wenge/bubinga gives it a very nice growl on the low B string and E. I feel that the SD Basslines along with their preamp is one of the best combinations. You can get so many different sounds out of one bass. I like the slap feature, gives a really nice Flea sound fingerstyle. Thanks for the kind words Bill.

It has a simple satin polyurethane finish. I didn't have a chance to weigh it before it left my shop, but it definitely is HEAVY for a 5 string. I am guessing it is around 10-11 pounds maybe. All the more wood to add to the sound. :)

Nice how it's essentially a P bass body shape, but it doesn't give off the vibe of it being just a P shape at all, it looks really really classy...nice execution, very nice looking bass, I bet it sounds amazing. Nice work.
