Sunn 300T Bass Amplifier - Price: $1400 (CDN)

If the gig calls for fat, toneful grinding bass that unmistakably says "ALL TUBE POWER," then this is the amp that can deliver the goods.

For specs & user manual see: http://www.sunnamps.com/pdfs/manuals/bass/300T.pdf

This particular amp looks nearly new. There are no tears or rips visible in the Tolex, all the controls/knobs/switches/sliders are intact and there are no missing screws or other items.

The original Russian/Chinese preamp tubes have been replaced with quality New Old Stock (NOS) tubes. The three 12AX7s are Sylvania branded, made in Great Britain and the 12AT7 is Philips branded, made in the U.S.A. The tubes were just tested with an Eico 667 Dynamic Conductance tube tester and test as new. The six power tubes are 6550 Sovteks, made in Russia (Sovteks are what this amp came with when new). They were also just tested and show considerable life remaining. The power output tube bias/balance adjustment was also just performed.

Included is a “spares kit” which consists of a spare Groove Tube 12AX7 (Russian made, tests as new), a spare 12AT7 (British made, NOS Mullard 12AT7/CV4022, military spec), and two Sovtek 6550 power tubes (used, but test very good). The kit also includes spare 10 amp mains fuses and the hard to find 100 mA tube fuses.

The owner’s manual is included as well the complete 300T factory service manual (includes the complete schematic diagrams and parts list). The original Sunn three button foot switch is also included.

A transportation case is also included. While not specifically made for it, this case just happens to nicely accomodate the 300T. It is suitable for going to gigs and other similar ground transportation. It is not an ATA flight case. This case is the reason this amp has remained in near new condition as it provides very good protection.

This amp is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada! Obviously, local pickup is preferred. If you would like to work something out regarding shipping, make a suggestion as to how you would like it to be shipped and we'll try to work something out.
