SOLD! Thanks for looking!
Up for sale is my Line 6 LowDown Studio 110, complete with the original paperwork and even the box. It's in excellent condition. I've only owned it for about half of the summer; I bought it brand-new a few months ago.
For those of you who don't know, it's an awesome little 75W RMS combo with a 10" speaker, 5 different amp models, a built-in synthesizer section, and a very low-noise DI. Similar to the SansAmp Bass Driver (BDDI), it outputs a signal that emulates a miked speaker cabinet. It also has a headphone output (see notes below) and normal 1/4" premap output to send the signal to a poweramp if desired.
The amp models include "Clean" (Eden Traveler), "R&B" (Ampeg B-15 Fliptop), "Rock" (Ampeg SVT), "Grind" (SansAmp PSA 1.1 into Ampeg SVT), and "Brit" (Marshall Super Bass). The synth section is pretty cool; it has flexible parameters and is reminiscent of the AKAI Deep Impact, albeit with less tones but better response and tracking.
I've really enjoyed owning this combo, but I don't really need it any more. If you want an inexpensive combo that not only sounds great for practice, but also for recording, then this is a combo worth considering!
NOTE: There is one known problem with this combo that Line 6 has offered a fix for. The headphone output has a mild hiss. With some headphones, it's pretty bad; on others, it's very minor. IME, quality headphones work best with this combo, if you're playing without the speaker on. Other than that, the combo is pretty quiet noise-wise, which is surprising for a combo in its price range. Line 6 has contracts with various repair techs nationwide, and all you need is the receipt (which I'll provide).
Overall, it is, IMHO, the best tiny combo out there under $300.00 if you want a tube-amp sound and feel.
I'm looking for $150 + shipping to the continental U.S. PayPal preferred (money order is okay, too). If you're interested or live outside the continental U.S., please PM me! I will ship internationally if you're willing to pay the extra cost.
No photos are available at this time, unfortunately (my camera is broken), but rest assured that it's in excellent condition. All I need to do is use a lint roller to remove excess lint and a little cat hair.
