FedEx delivered the cabinet today, a day earlier than they projected. Man it paired up nicely with my S15-D. Thanks for a great deal and a smooth transaction.

Before this thread gets closed, would you guys mind telling me your thoughts on the S15/S12 stack? I snoozed on this cab because I didn't think I needed another 12. Now I'm curious.

Oops, I posted my reply to your Mike Lull For Sale thread...here it is in its rightful place:

Hard to articulate, but here it goes. The S15-D is a great stand alone cabinet with "plenty" of low end, but by itself to my ears there was something that was lacking. I couldn't put my finger exactly on it, but I wanted more without sacrificing the great low end. When I added the S12-D that something showed up. The mids were clearer without sacrificing any of the low end. All in all a more rounded full sound without sacrificing anything. As good as the S15-D sounded, the S12-D made it sound better.

I couldn't be more pleased. I previously thought about later on investing in the much more expensive EA NL210/CXL112 stack, but now I am completely satisfied with the present setup and my gas for more has subsided and my pocketbook is rejoicing.

kesagape,
nice review. I was thinking about making a stack out of my Berg HT112 (adding an EX112). I play URB as well as electric, and the Berg kills most everything for URB, IMO. And yet I love my BE S15D. My g.a.s. continues only because I play both instr. I'll keep an eye out for an S12D though. Used BE prices are hard to pass up - as good as they all sound.
Thx for the response.
