I have a Kern that has been in my studio for some time. I don't use it anymore and need the funds for other studio gear. The preamp is in great shape but it is the wall wart version. However I upgraded the wall wart with a much better transformer and a more rugged connection. I think I used it on maybe 2 gigs so it doesn't smell like an ashtray and isn't all beat up. It has 2JJECC83s 12ax7's and 1 NOS GE 12AU7. I'm sure everybody knows about the Kern but if not:
