Need to upgrade your single 12" cab? Building the BFM Omni 12 cabinet (http://www.billfitzmaurice.com/Omni12.html)? This is an 8 ohm driver, rated at 500 watts and 1000 watts program. These are great replacement drivers in any 12" cab and go very low if the cabinet volume and tuning are close to specs. These are also the recommended drivers for the Omni 12 cabinet plans.
I've replaced it in a front-firing, ported Dr.Bass bass guitar cabinet with a Deltalite 2512, because the cab needed a more slightly more efficient driver to keep up with the midrange unit, and I didn't need the extended low frequency response and power handling of the LFA. The Delta LFA is only slightly used and has never been played hard or loud. It is nicely broken in and sounds great. I have excellent Eminence packing materials, courtesy of BLT Sound, that I'll ship the driver to you in.
