Mike Mattison has lead... everyone but Derek sings though LowDownUnder 10-13-2008, 11:10 AM Todd Smallie is very cool. I saw him with DTB and the soul stew band this summer. He and Yonrico are a great rhythm section, and Derek is a fantastic musician. Smallie's lines seem to perfectly fill the space he needs too. j-raj 10-13-2008, 01:40 PM He's actually a good friend of mine, we hung out last Thursday at the 5 Spot. He, Derek and Yonricho (DTB's drummer) were their watching Derek's younger brother's gig (Duane Trucks, he's a drummer). Hopefully when he gets back into town, we'll hook up to jam and maybe get a lesson from him. |
