Very clean and works like brand spankin' new. I also have the original manual. It has a ton of effects and options, but I mostly used it for the tube preamp settings, reverb, semi-parametric EQ and the delay. You can use the pedal with whammy effects, and even if that is all you're after, it would certainly be cheaper than buying a stand alone whammy.
