OK, I got this just recently but some Fender acquisition's make it a little redundant so to speak. For trade purposes, I'm looking for a jazz bass (Fender, Lakland primarily) with cash considerations depending on the bass. I'd prefer to keep weight down to 9-9.5# max, and lighter is a big plus!

This SAD is basically brand new. I've played it at a few rehearsals and brought as a backup to 2 gigs but did not use live. Here are the details:

Nice and light at 9#
Alder body/maple neck/RW board
jazz taper neck on p body
PJ pickups and Sadowsky electronics w/ vtc
white with tort pg
Sadowsky Ultralite Case

Let me know what you have. By the way, I'm only interested in 4 strings, no 5vers. Pics are from Indoor Storm where I bought the bass. I can take some more if interested.

FOR SALE PRICE: $1750 + $25 Shipping (Cont. US)

What is the tone like?

Alot of PJ basses are 'beginner' basses, and the only higher end PJ I've experienced is the Spector EMGs, a very wet, phat thick sound, perfect for slap.

Closer to P Bass tone IMO but the Jazz pickup adds some variety to the tonal pallet. Alot more versatile than a straight P.
