I just bought this from TBer FL Knifemaker. Its a great bass but financial problems are forcing me to sell it. He had it refinished recently and had the frets leveled, dressed and polished. The bass has copper shielding in all the cavities. It's set up low, has no buzz, and the intonation is set. Comes with a gig bag and ill throw in a set of barely used flats if you want em. Id like to get $225 shipped for it. Here are some pics he took of the bass. I can take some more if anyone is interested.

Bump for a cool bass

You WILL NOT find a better playing/sounding P for the $$$$. If I didn't have two more of them, I'd buy it back :)

Will it take a standard Fender replacement bridge? Like a BAII? Also stock pickups?

Stock pickups, yes. I have a Nordy in one of mine and it sounds great. The stock Electra pups are not bad at all. As far as the BA II, it will fit but will be close to the edge of the body. I just eyeballed the BA on my Jazz bass and my Electra and it looks like it would work, no problem. You might have to fill and drill a few holes holes but it will work.

An SX is $100 less ;)

But seriously, that is a cool bass and totally worth the price. I can't get it because I just bought an SX and a B-15N, but still quite a nice bass.

This is a great bass for the money. I owned one just like it in burst back in 83'. I bought it new. It came in a brown particle board case. BUMP
