CORT Curbow 5 that I took in as a trade. Bartolini MkI PUP and Bart three band Pre-amp. It had the heaviest set of strings I have ever seen on it upon arrival and had relief issues.
I replaced the strings with a nice light set of rounds, fixed the neck relief and set it up. Now it plays just fine, has a very nice low action, and to me has a very fast neck and some interesting sound capabilities with the 3 band pre. Slap switch that is adjustable for attack and gain and makes a significant difference in the way the output sounds. It's got serious attack with the switch engaged.
Usual swirlies, one light scratch on the back that doesn't photograph, missing the truss rod cover. But that's easily replaced.
The "Lutherite" resin body and the syn ebony finger board (which is pretty nice IMO).
If you're interested in moving to a five-banger, this would not be a bad way to start. Nice bass for a beginner too as the action is very soft and easy on the fingers. Nut width 1.75", string spacing 17MM at the bridge. This bass has some very impressive features for a Korean built mass market axe. When was the last time you saw felt washers under the strap pins on a guitar?
Me? I need to thin the herd a bit as I have incomings that need my attention.
TRADED + shipping OR trade something interesting - I can add some $$ if needed.
