FOR SALE

Fretless 5 string MTD Kingston Heir with active electronics. I bought this bass new just nine months ago. It is a very nice instrument. I originally intended to get a fretted MTD to go with it. I like having a pair of the same bass, fretted and fretless. I ended up going with a Lakland 55-02 for my new main fretted bass though, so now I'm selling the MTD and looking for another Lakland.

It is in like new condition. I have only played it at maybe a dozen outside gigs. I restrung it with half-rounds the day it arrived - so there is no fingerboard wear to speak of. I put in a fair amount of practice time on it (my fretless skills are not the best still).

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the MTD specs, or know where to get them. Note that this is the active version of the Kingston Heir. It sounds and plays great. I've always run it with the bass boosted about 20% and the treble rolled off.

I'm offering the bass for $525 shipped to the lower 48. No case or gig bag is included - but I will add a gig bag for another $40.

The only trade I will consider is for a fretless five string Lakland 55-01 or 02, could negotiate cash with that trade depending on the bass of course.

On to the photos!

More photos... Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see in a photo, or any questions about the bass. Thanks for looking!

Apologies, I know. I just thought I'd ask on the off chance that he still had it.

This is why people should CLOSE their threads when the item sells!:eyebrow:;)

Yeah, maybe even delete the thread if it's possible. I always delete my Craigslists ads after I sell stuff.
